Factual narrative

On September 20, 2016, at 1725 UTC, a Fairchild Swearingen Corporation SA-227-AC Metroliner, German registration D-CPSW, owned and operated by BINAIR Aero, sustained minor damage when the airplane veered off the runway while landing at the Cologne/Bonn Airport, Cologne, Germany. The commercial pilot-in-command, and commercial co-pilot were not injured. Visual meteorological conditions prevailed for the cross country cargo flight that originated at Shopje, Macedonia. This investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the German government.
