Factual narrative

On June 7, 2018, a Mexican registered Piper PA-25, XB-YEI, impacted electrical cables and terrain near Cajeme, Sonora, Mexico. The pilot received fatal injuries. The airplane sustained substantial damage. The flight departed Cajeme, Mexico, on a local aerial application flight. The accident investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the government of Mexico.
