Probable cause & findings

The pilot’s inadvertent application of the wheel brakes after touchdown.

Factual narrative

The pilot reported that on his fourth landing after the airplane touched down, he accidentally bumped the brakes causing the airplane to nose over and come to rest inverted. The airplane sustained substantial damage to the wings, vertical stabilizer, and rudder.
