ON JUNE 23, 1985, A STUDENT PLT FLYING A C-172 DEPARTED THE SIDE OF THE RWY WHOLE LANDING AT GALLUP, NM. HE SAID THAT THE LANDING WAS MADE AT TOO HIGH AN AIRSPEED.
