STC SB03043CH

Replace the Lindstrand Balloons USA Basket/Burner system with the Aerostar International Basket, Part Number 53130, S/N RWSW-AFX-156, and the Aerostar International Burner, Part Number 52350, S/N HP3D-3921. Replace the Lindstrand Balloons USA fuel tanks with the Aerostar International Model Model V-18 Fuel Tank, Part Number 53037, S/Ns 03321 and 03322. The Aerostar International Basket/Burner is installed via the standard Lindstrand Balloons carabiner (snaplink) attachments.

What is an STC?

A Supplemental Type Certificate authorizes a major modification or alteration to an FAA-certificated aircraft. STCs are how operators legally install new avionics, change fuel systems, add floats, swap engines, etc. — every change beyond a minor modification needs one.
