Replace Aerostar Basket/Burner with a Cameron Basket/Burner in accordance with Aerostar Retrofit Instructions for STC SB146CH, dated December 14, 1993, or later FAA approved revisions. Eligible Cameron baskets are: 42x50 Standard, 42x52 Aristocrat, 42x58 Aristocrat, and 46x62 Aristocrat. Eligible Cameron burners are: MKIV single burner, MKIV double burner, MKIV super double burner, and MKIV ultra burner.

What is an STC?

A Supplemental Type Certificate authorizes a major modification or alteration to an FAA-certificated aircraft. STCs are how operators legally install new avionics, change fuel systems, add floats, swap engines, etc. — every change beyond a minor modification needs one.
