Modification and installation of the Columbia Helicopters, Inc. C34E2057 Utility Interior Configuration, 1-19 Passengers, in accordance with Columbia Helicopters, Inc. (CHI) Master Drawing List No. 01-RDE-0602, Revision A, dated January 14, 2002, or later FAA approved revision. The modified interior will be maintained in accordance with Columbia Helicopter's FAA approved Model 234 manual, Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program.
What is an STC?
A Supplemental Type Certificate authorizes a major modification or alteration to an FAA-certificated aircraft. STCs are how operators legally install new avionics, change fuel systems, add floats, swap engines, etc. — every change beyond a minor modification needs one.
