Installation of Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6C-67D, engine in accordance with DynCorp International Master Drawing List Report Number D1H-MDL-100, Revision IR, dated \nApril 17, 2007, or later FAA approved revision. DynCorp International Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement (RFMS) Report Number DIER-0012, Revision 0, dated \nJanuary 17, 2008, or later FAA approved revision, is required. Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICAs) DIER-0003, Revision 1, dated August 30, 2007, or later revision is required. Airworthiness Limitations section of ICA DIER-0003, approved on August 30, 2007 or later approved revision is required.
What is an STC?
A Supplemental Type Certificate authorizes a major modification or alteration to an FAA-certificated aircraft. STCs are how operators legally install new avionics, change fuel systems, add floats, swap engines, etc. — every change beyond a minor modification needs one.
