Installation of a Ballistic Protection System (BPS) in accordance with FAA Approved Master Drawing List for the Installation of the Ballistic Protection System in the EADS CASA C-212 Series Aircraft, C212-0-1100-MCM11, Revision A, dated June 23, 2011 or later FAA approved revision. FAA Approved Airplane Flight Manual Supplement No. C212-12-1100-MCM11, Revision IR, dated July 27, 2011, or later FAA approved revision is required as part of this installation.

What is an STC?

A Supplemental Type Certificate authorizes a major modification or alteration to an FAA-certificated aircraft. STCs are how operators legally install new avionics, change fuel systems, add floats, swap engines, etc. — every change beyond a minor modification needs one.
