Airworthiness Directives; The Boeing Company Airplanes
Abstract
The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain The Boeing Company Model 787-9 and 787-10 airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by reports that some floor beam side-of-body fittings have been manufactured with an incorrect material type. This proposed AD would require replacing the incorrectly manufactured floor beam side-of-body fittings, inspecting the fuselage frame and fastener holes for damage, and repairing any damage. The FAA is proposing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.

SUMMARY: The FAA proposes to adopt a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain The Boeing Company Model 787-9 and 787-10 airplanes. This proposed AD was prompted by reports that some floor beam side-of-body fittings have been manufactured with an incorrect material type.
