AFTER INITIATING A 180 DEG TURN, THE PLT HEARD A 'THUMP' AND NOTED A LOW VIBRATION. THE ACFT THEN PITCHED DOWN ABRUPTLY AND ENTERED AN INVERTED SPIN TO GROUND CONTACT.
