THE INSTRUCTOR PILOT STATED THAT HE AND THE STUDENT REFUELED THE AIRPLANE AND WAITED 5 MINUTES BEFORE DRAINING THE FUEL SYSTEM. THE ENGINE LOST POWER ON TAKEOFF AND CRASHED INTO TREES.
