Factual narrative
LANDING ON AN ICE COVERED RWY, THE CROSS-WIND WAS STRONGER THAN RPTD. THE ACFT DRIFTED LEFT DESPITE CONTROL INPUT TO CORRECT. THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED BEFORE THE PLT COULD INITIATE A GO-AROUND.
