Option 2: Install a Walter M601-D11 engine and Avia V508-E-AG 106/A propeller NOTE: The Air Tractor model AT-400, AT-402B, AT-502, AT-502B, and AT-503A airplanes are not eligible for modification under option 2.
What is an STC?
A Supplemental Type Certificate authorizes a major modification or alteration to an FAA-certificated aircraft. STCs are how operators legally install new avionics, change fuel systems, add floats, swap engines, etc. — every change beyond a minor modification needs one.
