V, dated August 9, 2011, or later Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved revision. Rotorcraft Flight Manual Supplement, AAI Document No. E99-162, Rev. C, dated November 08, 2010, or later FAA approved revision is required.
What is an STC?
A Supplemental Type Certificate authorizes a major modification or alteration to an FAA-certificated aircraft. STCs are how operators legally install new avionics, change fuel systems, add floats, swap engines, etc. — every change beyond a minor modification needs one.
